Lattice structures
LOCWELD has accumulated invaluable experience in manufacturing steel transmission line structures from 69Kv up to 765Kv including both self-supporting and guyed lattice configurations. All of our towers are subject to a trial assembly process and we can assemble sections of up to 200’-0 at a time. This ensures that your material will be verified and approved on all levels prior to delivery, resulting in an unparalleled ease of assembly in the field…thus being a crucial time saver for all parties involved.
Tubular structures
Tubular pole fabrication is also a key component of our product line.
Our fabrication capacity enables us to manufacture tubular pole structures in 36’-0 sections with an array of base diameter sizes subject to specifications. These structures may be protected with a galvanized finish or a metallic paint equivalent depending on structure dimensions. A special WEATHERING steel composition, providing a weathered finish over time, is also often used for many of our customers.
Combined added value
Many projects that come through our door require a mix of both structure types (lattice & tubular). LOCWELD’s ability to fulfill both of these requirements under one roof can often translate into cost savings for our customers. In having the ability to monitor the production process centrally, you are at ease knowing you only have one call to make in order to verify the production status and scheduling of the complete order.
