The health and safety of our employees is central to our corporate culture at Locweld. That’s why we have best practices in place to keep our employees safe. How do we do ensure a safe work environment for all?
- A safe workplace starts with the right training. We ensure all employees are properly trained and equipped with information, tools, protective equipment, and supervision to perform their jobs safely and efficiently.
- Investing in prevention each and every day. In accordance with Lean principles, every shift begins with an all-hands meeting to review our safety commitments and provide our employees with the opportunity to offer feedback. These meetings ensure that communication is clear and that our processes are constantly improving.
- Improvement requires vigilance. We consistently review and upgrade our health and safety goals and we are proud to say our health and safety record surpasses the industry standard in Quebec.
